Tall and proud I stand,
White and majestic, full of life.
Shedding radiance on passers-by
With just a touch of heat.

Flickering in the wind, amber and blue,
Second by second, I melt away.
Pain unbearable, life’s trials;
This flame strips me of all I am.

Time no more;
Yet I stand fearless,
For I know that short though my life,
I provided light to all who drew close.
